Transport to Kent Airport
Directions on how to arrive at Kent Airport, by car, rail and bus.
Travelling by Car:
Travelling to the airport by car is very simple, as a network of motorways provides easy access from many directions. Coming from London, take the A2 towards Dover or the M25, taking the Junction 2 exit to the M2 which ends at Faversham, dividing into the A2 - directing you to Canterbury - and the A229 route towards Kent International Airport. Continue along the A229 until you reach the B2408 in the direction of Birchington. Then take the B2190, and travel this route until it joins up with the B2050, with the turning for the airport shortly on the right. There is no access to Haine Road or Manston village from this side of the airport. This guide takes about 1.5 hours travel time to complete in a car.
From Dover takes about 20-30 minutes, find the A229 to eventually get onto the B2048 and in turn the B2190, ending up on the B2050 for access to the airport entrance on the right.
Travelling by Rail
Regular train services run from London Victoria or London Charing Cross to Ramsgate, taking about 2 hours. A train from St. Pancras has a journey time of around 1 hour. Taxis from the train station to the airport takes roughly 8 minutes.
Travelling by Bus
Operators run regular services from Ramsgate 38A and 38B to the airport.
